Pennylane SAS in France seeks a Senior Software Engineer to frame user and product problems, deliver pragmatic, high-quality solutions within a cross-functional squad.

You will lead significant technical deliveries, investigate production issues with observability tools, design robust, scalable components, and raise engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and RFCs.

How you will contribute to the company as a Senior Software Engineer?

• Understand and frame user and product problems, using your product knowledge to help your squad deliver simple, pragmatic and valuable solutions.

• Lead significant technical deliveries within your squad, from understanding the problem to designing, implementing, testing and operating the solution in production.

• Investigate and resolve complex production issues, using monitoring, observability and data analysis tools to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

• Design and evolve robust solutions, identifying performance, scalability and reliability opportunities and turning them into pragmatic technical improvements.

• Bring strong expertise in at least one major part of our stack, while being able to join a new team and become autonomous on a high‑impact initiative within a few weeks.

• Improve engineering practices across the organization, through high‑quality code reviews, pair programming, documentation, RFCs and the adoption of AI‑assisted development without compromising software quality.
