Job summary

Trustpair, a scalable vendor validation platform, is hiring two backend engineers in France. You will design and deliver features on a Ruby on Rails stack, shape architecture, and oversee releases while ensuring security and reliability for payments.

You will collaborate across teams in a fast-growing company, applying TDD, code reviews, and DevOps practices, with hybrid or remote work within France.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Ruby (Rails) backend development.
• Ability to conceive the technical design of a complex product feature.
• Experience working on a rapidly growing product; knowledge of large-scale web app architectures.
• Experience working in an Agile environment like Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in API development and knowledge of resilience, scalability and security constraints.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in creating innovative features by following best practices and maintaining exceptional code quality.
• Engage in every phase of the SDLC; contribute to the architecture, code development, and oversee the launch of new releases.
• Support critical services for our customers which ensures the security of their payments.
• Keep a pulse on the technology landscape and evolving trends.
• Identify emerging technologies and propose improvements to the stack.
• Champion engineering excellence with code reviews, TDD, and pair programming.
