Back Market is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Circularity Order Lifecycle squad in Paris. You’ll work on the Trade-in program, enabling customers to exchange devices for cash toward refurbished purchases, in a hybrid 2 remote days / week and 3 days in the Paris office setup.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, data analysts and business partners to deliver scalable features and robust systems, across Python/Go stacks, with modern frontend involvement and

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering with Go as primary and Python experience
• Microservices architecture with high-traffic backend services
• Frontend knowledge (Vue.js/React) and TypeScript for full-stack contribution
• Strong SDLC and testing expertise for high-quality releases
• Experience building observability systems and on-call incident management
• Database and queue expertise (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ); API design
• Excellent written and verbal communication; autonomous within squad scope
