Role Overview

As a backend engineer on a 15‑person team you will collaborate with product and tech leads to specify, design, implement and review new features while maintaining a clean, high‑quality codebase.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product team to specify and plan upcoming features
• Contribute to technical evaluation and specification of upcoming features
• Implement new features using the best practices in PHP 8.1, Symfony 6, API Platform, MySQL and related technologies
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve production bugs
• Review code of teammates to keep the project clean and share knowledge

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with PHP and the Symfony framework (or equivalent software development experience)
• Strong communication skills in English; all technical meetings are conducted in English
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Autonomous, proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a team spirit
• DevOps awareness and curiosity (GitHub, personal projects, CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker is highly desirable
