IDEMIA is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to join a permanent role based in Osny. You will help design, deploy and evolve the product infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, focusing on performance, security and availability while migrating on‑prem components to Azure.

You will also deepen Azure cloud architecture skills, contribute to architectural decisions and work across software, security and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with cloud infrastructure, security and performance.

• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET not required but beneficial.
• Fluency in English for global collaboration.

• Design, deploy and evolve MorphoManager’s infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions in collaboration with architects and technical teams.
• Migrate existing on-premises components to Azure using IaaS.
• Deploy and manage VMs, storage, networks, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls and identity services.
• Build secure, repeatable infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, backups and disaster recovery.
• Support modernization of C#/.NET services for Azure integration.
• Set up logs, metrics, alerts and dashboards with Azure Monitor/Application Insights.
• Diagnose performance, connectivity, scalability and availability issues.

Purpose

As part of a permanent position based in Osny, you will join a multidisciplinary team of around 20 people, including software engineers, Product Owners and architecture experts.

You will contribute to the modernization of our product by helping design, deploy and evolve its infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Your work will strengthen its performance, security and availability while supporting our customers’ evolving needs.

This role also offers an experienced engineer the opportunity to deepen their Azure cloud expertise and gradually take on architecture responsibilities.

Key Missions

• Design, deploy and evolve MorphoManager’s infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions in collaboration with architects and technical teams.
• Migrate existing on-premises components to Azure, primarily using IaaS services.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage, networks, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, certificates and identity services.
• Build secure, repeatable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or Bicep.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Automate application deployment, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, backups and disaster recovery.
• Support the modernization of C#/.NET services for integration into Azure environments.
• Set up logs, metrics, alerts and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, scalability and availability issues.
• Collaborate with development, security, QA, support and hardware teams.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, operational procedures and deployment documentation.
• Develop your cloud architecture expertise and contribute to the product’s technical direction.

Profile & Other Information

Candidate Profile

• You are a hands-on, versatile engineer who can work across infrastructure, cloud, automation and application layers. You can analyze complex systems, collaborate with multiple technical teams and support the modernization of a product, with a strong focus on security, performance and reliability. You have substantial technical experience and are keen to develop your skills in Azure cloud design and architecture.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS services, networking, storage, backup, identity management, and security.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET, PowerShell, Windows Server, SQL Server, and networking.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, observability, and cloud security principles.
• Ability to work on architecture challenges and an interest in taking on greater responsibilities in this area.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating applications and databases to Azure.
• Knowledge of containers, hybrid environments, and Azure monitoring tools.
