IDEMIA Group in Osny, France, is seeking a permanent Azure Cloud Architect to lead the product’s transformation to the cloud. You will join a multidisciplinary team and define the Azure Cloud architecture to improve performance, security, and scalability.

The role focuses on migrating on‑prem components to Azure, building IaC, CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and supporting modernization of C#/.NET services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, infra, or .NET development.
• Strong Azure expertise, focusing on IaaS, networking, storage, and identity.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, PowerShell, Windows Server, and SQL Server.
• Ability to design for high availability, scaling, observability and security.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement MorphoManager infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Migrate on-premises components to Azure IaaS.
• Deploy and manage VMs, storage, networking, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, certificates, and identity services.
• Build secure, repeatable infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, backup, and DR.
• Support modernization of C#/.NET services for Azure environments.
• Implement logging, metrics, and dashboards with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Collaborate with development, security, QA, support, and device teams.
• Produce architecture diagrams and deployment docs.

Purpose

Based in Osny, France, our teams develop and continuously enhance a high-performing software solution designed to meet our clients’ needs. As part of our strong growth, we are looking for a permanent Azure Cloud Architect to support the product’s transformation to the Cloud.

Your role as an Azure Cloud Architect:

You will join a multidisciplinary team of twenty people, including software developers, Product Owners, and architecture experts.

You will play a key role in modernizing the product by defining and implementing its Azure Cloud architecture. In doing so, you will help strengthen its performance, security, and ability to meet our clients’ evolving needs

Key Missions

• Design and implement MorphoManager infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Migrate existing on-premises components using Azure IaaS.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, certificates, and identity services.
• Build secure and repeatable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or Bicep.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Automate application deployment, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Support the modernization of C#/.NET services for Azure environments.
• Implement logging, metrics, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Diagnose performance, connectivity, scalability, and availability issues.
• Work with development, security, QA, support, and device teams.
• Produce architecture diagrams, operating procedures, and deployment documentation.

Profile & Other Information

Candidate Profile

• A hands-on and versatile engineer capable of working across infrastructure, automation, and application layers. You can analyze complex systems, collaborate with various technical teams, and support product modernization, with a strong focus on security and reliability.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS services, networking, storage, backup, identity management, and security.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET, PowerShell, Windows Server, SQL Server, and networking.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, observability, and cloud security principles.
• Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating applications and databases to Azure.
• Knowledge of containers, hybrid environments, and Azure monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of biometrics, IoT, or regulated environments would be an advantage.
