Excelya is seeking a skilled professional for a Clinical Operations role focused on end-to-end site contracting and budget management in a dynamic team. You will draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, manage budgets, and oversee payments across multiple sites, vendors, and study teams.

With 2+ years of relevant experience and fluency in English and French, you will contribute to compliance, process improvements, and successful trial delivery within Excelya's European network.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in clinical contracts and budget management within pharma, biotech, or CRO.
• Mandatory experience negotiating contracts under the French Convention Unique framework.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end clinical site contracting process (drafting, negotiation, amendments, termination, signature collection and archiving).
• Negotiate site budgets based on approved templates and payment milestones, ensuring Fair Market Value compliance.
• Oversee study-related site payments, including financial set-up, purchase orders, invoice tracking and approval.
• Maintain accurate contract and budget tracking within relevant systems (activation, documentation, archiving).
• Manage the Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) process.
• Escalate contract and budget issues to Legal and Finance when required.
• Participate in site-level meetings (legal, finance, clinical) to resolve contractual and payment-related matters.
• Manage contracting activities for local vendors and clinical trial-related consulting agreements.
• Contribute to the Clinical Trial Insurance process.
• Ensure appropriate review and approval of changes related to ICF Part 2 in collaboration with Legal.
• Provide regular status reporting on contracts, budgets and payments to study teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Experience

Min 2 years of experience in clinical contracts and budget management within pharma, biotech, or CRO. Mandatory experience in negotiating contracts under the French Convention Unique framework.

Skills

Strong expertise in site contract and budget negotiation, knowledge of local contracting and payment processes, ability to manage multiple contracts, and solid stakeholder management skills.

Education

Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.

Languages

Fluent in English and French.
