The Team

A&M Digital and Technology Services EMEA is a dynamic and fast-growing practice that combines IT M&A advisory, Data and AI consulting, and digitally enabled performance improvement and transformation for both private equity and corporate clients. Within the Business Technology pillar, we work with private equity funds, corporates and financial services clients across Europe and internationally to:

• Carry out effective technology and product due diligence pre-deal
• Support integration and separation through the deal lifecycle until TSA exit
• Create value through technology for private equity portfolio companies by increasing performance and output while reducing costs

We frequently work across multiple disciplines and in close coordination with other A&M practices, such as private equity performance improvement, corporate deals, restructuring and financial due diligence.

Against a backdrop of unprecedented growth and promotions, we are strengthening our team in Paris at the (Senior) Associate level, to contribute to a growing and highly experienced team.

How you will contribute

As a (Senior) Associate, you will play a key part in project delivery. You will analyse available data and facts against hypotheses to formulate fact-based conclusions, even when data is limited, working alongside senior members of the project team and helping manage client stakeholders. Success in the role is measured by the quality of your analysis and by the measurable improvements you help deliver for our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyse data and available facts, test hypotheses and develop clear, evidence-based conclusions, even when information is limited.
• Work as a core member of the team, reviewing clients' immediate and future issues and market position, and developing actionable options for strategic and performance improvement.
• Contribute to target operating model design, IT and digital transformation programmes, enterprise architecture and strategic cost reduction initiatives.
• Build business models in Excel, and structure and write compelling PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports.
• Work closely with senior project team members, collaborate across A&M practices, and help manage client stakeholders in complex, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Typically 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Consulting toolkit: framing business issues, finding and using internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, building models in Excel, and structuring and writing PowerPoint and Word materials
• Experience working with private equity firms and blue-chip corporates, ideally across pre-deal and post-deal engagements
• Track record in IT / technology performance improvement at a leading technology advisory, strategy or traditional advisory firm
• Proven ability to work in international teams and deliver measurable improvements in Technology & IT
• Understanding of digital technologies, including Big Data & Predictive Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Customer Experience & Omni-Channel communication
• Very strong academic record, analytical rigour and an objective, fact-based approach to problem solving
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, and proficiency in AI tools to enhance personal productivity
• Native French speaker with fluent business-level English (both essential)
