Ardmac is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist based near Paris to lead a team of Technologists on multiple high-value projects. You will produce and supervise design documentation, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage handover to construction teams.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, mentoring junior staff, coordinating with sub-contractors, and supporting tender proposals in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in BIM software and design standards.
• Ability to manage design teams and deliver documentation.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of Architectural Technologists across multiple projects.
• Produce and supervise drawings, schedules and documentation for client approvals.
• Ensure smooth handover of design to construction team.
• Review specifications, budgets and programmes; monitor progress and targets.
• Mentor junior team members and manage sub-contractor packages.
• Raise RFIs/COVIs and ensure compliance with Health and Safety plans.
• Attend site meetings and assist tender proposals.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to be based close to Paris; the main job objectives are...

• To manage a team of Architectural Technologists across multiple projects, to ensure Ardmac design solutions are of the highest quality, on schedule and within budget.
• Responsibility for the production and supervision of Ardmac design solutions including drawings, schedules & other documentation required for approval by client professional team.
• Ensuring smooth handover of design package to our construction team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review Project(s) specification and scope and agree a list of deliverables.
• Agree and manage project(s) design budget and programme using last planner and other planning tools.
• Ensure design is compliant with regulations and standards.
• Report output and productivity against agreed targets.
• Mentor junior team members to aid with their professional development.
• Generate and manage technical aspects of sub-contractor packages.
• Product selection for application (fit for purpose & technical).
• Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials.
• Raise/Respond to design stage RFIs and COVIs.
• Comply with the design criteria laid out within the Health and Safety Plan.
• Identify Long Lead Materials to assist with procurement.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Assistance in preparation of tender proposals

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• BSc. in Architectural Technology

Ability and knowledge of:

• BIM – Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCAD
• Building Regulations and Design Standards including BCAR
• Technical Detailing & Material Specification
• Drawing Symbols & Standards
• Problem solving
• Fluency in French and English
