Mistral is seeking Applied Scientists and Research Engineers based in Paris, France, to develop state-of-the-art models across text, image, and speech modalities. Candidates will work on innovative research projects in collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams, delivering impactful AI solutions.

The ideal candidates will have expertise in PyTorch or JAX, excellent communication skills, and a robust understanding of model evaluation and deployment. A background in relevant fields will be advantageous, but exceptional candidates from other fields are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Expertise in developing SOTA models.
• Experience managing research projects with clients.

Responsabilités

• Run pre-training and deployment of models on clusters.
• Generate and curate data for model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with teams on complex AI use cases.
