Proton in Paris is seeking a senior Android engineer to join one of our product teams focused on Inbox and related services. You will build and ship high-quality Android experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a growing Rust core, collaborating with product, design, and engineers.

You should bring strong Kotlin Android experience, Jetpack Compose expertise, and a passion for privacy-first products. The role offers ownership, fast-moving environments, and opportunities to impact millions

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and shipping high-quality Android apps using Kotlin.
• Strong Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
• Care deeply about product quality and user experience.
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of features, from scoping and technical design through to delivery.
• Strong experience building maintainable, scalable mobile architectures.
• Comfortable working across large codebases and collaborating across multiple teams.
