Avel Technologies is seeking a Senior Android Automotive System Debug Engineer to support a Toulouse customer. You will validate and stabilise an embedded Android Automotive platform, focusing on Google CTS/STS and cybersecurity, with strong emphasis on root-cause analysis and efficient debugging across the stack.

You will work with cross-functional teams, reproduce issues, document findings, and develop scripts to improve test repeatability and evidence collection.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CTS campaign execution and analysis.
• Hands-on STS testing and cybersecurity validation.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture and Linux subsystems.

Responsabilités

• Plan, configure, and monitor CTS/STS campaigns on Android Automotive targets.
• Analyse test failures, identify patterns, and determine affected layers.
• Debug across Android Framework, native services, HALs, Linux kernel, and BSP.
• Collect and analyse logs, crash dumps, and traces for diagnostics.
• Reproduce defects and drive root-cause analysis and verification of fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and platform teams to validate corrections.
• Prepare evidence and status updates for certification milestones.
• Develop scripts to increase test repeatability and evidence collection.
