Helsing, based in Paris, is looking for a skilled AI specialist to develop AI-based solutions in the defence sector. Your role will involve building computer vision systems for challenging environments, focusing on scene matching, SLAM, and 3D reconstruction.

Qualifications

• Hold an MSc in computer science, machine learning, or robotics with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in localisation and scene matching systems.
• Familiar with geometric deep learning and visual SLAM.
• Solid programming skills writing clean, production-grade code.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external reporting.
• Passion for staying updated with current research.

Responsabilités

• Develop and benchmark computer vision models and pipelines.
• Build systems for scene matching and geo-registration.
• Research and adapt geometric deep learning methods to use cases.
• Collaborate with teams on integrating outputs into decision-making.
• Design experiments to assess model performance in real-world scenarios.
