PayFit Ltd. is hiring a senior Software Engineer to shape the future of AI-enabled payroll and HRIS workflows. You will partner with business owners to design and deliver production AI features, integrating with core systems and ensuring safe, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering and business teams and aims to improve service quality and execution speed. You’ll work with an AI Enablement team reporting to the CEO, contributing to reusable components,

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years in software engineering with API/systems design.
Hands-on production experience with LLMs, agents, tools or AI workflows.
Strong product sense to translate ambiguity into production solutions.
Focus on security, permissions, evaluation and observability.

Responsibilities

Partner with business users to map workflows and turn needs into AI-powered solutions.
Design and implement integrations with APIs, apps, and data sources; build agent orchestration.
Ship production-ready AI features with monitoring, evaluation, and safe handling.
Prioritize opportunities with business owners and clear baselines.
Iterate using user feedback and time-saved signals to improve reliability and adoption.
Co-develop reusable components and patterns with Framework team for scalable delivery.
Create templates and handoffs to empower business teams for ongoing operation.
