Job summary

Kraken is building an AI Foundations platform in France to power trusted, scalable AI across teams. You will design and run Python services, deploy agents, and connect knowledge pipelines to ensure accurate, safe answers across tools like Notion, Slack and GitHub.

You will own end-to-end systems, drive reliability, monitor performance, and collaborate with engineers and non-technical stakeholders to raise the engineering bar and accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong Python, design, testing, deployment experience.
• Hands-on LLM and agent experience.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Ability to explain trade-offs to mixed audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build shared AI platform services in Python.
• Deploy and run agents across Slack, GitHub, Notion.
• Ground AI in Kraken context with knowledge pipelines.
• Define tests and observable metrics.
• Build safety and governance tooling.
• Operate services on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with engineers and non-technical teams.
• Raise engineering standards with reusable patterns.
