Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior AI Engineer (Python, LLMs) to design, develop, and optimize production-grade AI applications powered by Large Language Models. You will translate complex data requirements into scalable solutions and drive AI initiatives across teams.

You will build RAG pipelines, semantic search, and ETL/ELT processes, integrate with OpenAI APIs, and ensure robust, reliable performance in a fully remote, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and integrating LLMs, specifically OpenAI APIs.
• Proven experience building and optimizing RAG workflows and Semantic Search.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or Agentic workflows, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search capabilities.
• Develop and integrate high-performance application layers with LLM APIs to support complex workflows.
• Architect automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and prepare unstructured data for AI workflows.
• Implement evaluation loops and monitoring frameworks to ensure the accuracy, safety, and reliability of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and shape strategic opportunities for intelligent automation.
