Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior AI Engineer (Python, LLMs) to design, develop, and optimize production-grade AI applications powered by Large Language Models. You will translate complex data requirements into scalable solutions and ensure robust performance across systems.

You will build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, semantic search, and ETL/ELT workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and operate in a 100% remote setting with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and integrating LLMs, specifically OpenAI APIs.
• Proven experience building and optimizing RAG workflows and Semantic Search.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or Agentic workflows, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search capabilities.
• Develop and integrate high-performance application layers with LLM APIs to support complex workflows.
• Architect automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and prepare unstructured data for AI workflows.
• Implement evaluation loops and monitoring frameworks to ensure the accuracy, safety, and reliability of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and shape strategic opportunities for intelligent automation.
