NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior AI Compute Engineer to join its NVIS team to deploy and manage AI infrastructure for global customers. The role emphasizes operating in a customer-facing, multi-national context with deep Linux and data center expertise.

You will engage with customers and partners, assist with planning and implementation of large-scale AI factory projects, and help document solutions, bugs, and improvements. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/EE or related field.
• 8+ years providing in-depth support and deployment in data centers.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, kernel/Performance optimization, and system administration.
• Experience with data center networking and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

The scope of these efforts includes a combination of Networking, System Design and Automation while being the face to the customer.**What you will be doing:*** Primary responsibilities will include deploying, managing, and maintaining AI infrastructure for new and existing customers.* Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.* Handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers as they begin rolling out some of the most sophisticated systems in the world!* Provide feedback to internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.**What we need to see:*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* 8+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services in data centers, solving problems for hardware and software products.* Knowledge and experience with Linux Operating System, administration, process management, package management, task scheduling, kernel management, boot procedures/troubleshooting, performance reporting/optimization/logging.* Knowledge and experience with Data center network products and protocols.* Knowledge and experience with Data center monitoring solutions.* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and deliver resolutions for customer-blocking issues as they arise. We are considering the following: Italy: The base salary range is 66,000 EUR – 114,000 EUR for level 4, and 86,250 EUR – 149,500 EUR for level 5.
