Job summary

Aerospacelab in Toulouse is seeking an Accountant who will report to the Head of Finance and work with two Senior Accountants to own the bookkeeping of our affiliates and help scale the Finance function with stronger controls and standardised processes.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, VAT returns, payroll bookings, bank reconciliations, and contribute to monthly closings while building scalable workflows and supporting audits in a fast-growing tech space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Structured and organised mindset.
• Autonomy and willingness to take ownership.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: purchase-to-pay, payroll bookings, credit card transactions and employee expense reports.
• Follow up on financial operations, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and Intracom declarations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and statutory accounts.
• Support the annual audit and contribute to consolidation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes with standardized workflows and digital tools.
• Contribute to the transformation of the Finance team as Aerospacelab scales.
