Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead multiple accounting disciplines, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting. The role requires driving SEC disclosures and coordinating with internal teams to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will bring a Bachelor’s in accounting, 4 years of relevant experience, and preferably a CPA license, with strong Office and ERP system skills, including AX2012.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 4 years of related experience or training.
• CPA license preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• ERP systems experience; Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the completion of accounting activities in AR & AP, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, and related areas.
• Ensure final work product is timely and GAAP compliant.
• Ensure reports and filings comply with Sarbanes Oxley and SEC regulations.
• Use GAAP to prepare and manage SEC disclosures and internal/external reporting.
