Nokia is seeking a Senior Research/Standardization Specialist to drive 6G RAN standardization in 3GPP RAN3 and help shape the evolution of disaggregated RAN, cloud-native protocols, and AI-enabled RAN. You will work across research, product, and standards teams to translate innovation into standards contributions and future Nokia capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Strong expertise in 5G and 6G mobile systems, RAN architecture, 3GPP-defined interfaces and protocols.
• Experience as a 3GPP delegate or researcher and in technology development and patent creation.

Responsabilités

• Lead Nokia’s 6G standardization activities in 3GPP RAN3.
• Collaborate with Nokia Research, Bell Labs, product teams, and ecosystem partners.
• Generate intellectual property and align standardization with Nokia’s priorities.
• Represent Nokia in 3GPP RAN3 and influence RAN architecture and 6G strategy.
