Scaleway in Lyon is seeking a Security Engineer to join our SOC/CSIRT tooling team. You will develop and maintain automated tools to support threat detection and secure cloud operations.

Working in a small, international group, you will collaborate with product and infra teams, adapt tools for SecNumCloud compliance, and help scale our security capabilities across our growing cloud platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and tool creation.
• Interest in cybersecurity concepts, threat environments, or SOC/CSIRT operations.
• Proven track record of working with infrastructure or production teams.
• Ability to build clean, maintainable code for automation and internal tooling.
• Familiarity with SecNumCloud or regulated cloud compliance is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain automated tools for the SOC, CSIRT, and Trust & Safety teams.
• Equip field security teams with robust, tailor-made technical solutions.
• Adapt internal security tools to support security requirements.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across Scaleway.
• Support operations within a SecNumCloud-compliant environment.
• Continuously optimize scripts and workflows to streamline threat detection and remediation.
