Job summary

The French Touch Academy in Cap d'Agde seeks a seasonal BAFA activity leader to coordinate activities, supervise interns and their families, and supervise logistics and housing during the program. The role requires mentoring youths, enforcing rules, and promoting a positive boarding-school environment.

Responsibilities include managing shifts, handling incidents with management, organizing outings, and assisting with sports-related events and transport arrangements.

Qualifications

• BAFA certification is required.
• Class B driver's license is strongly recommended.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with youth and families.
• Sense of responsibility, punctuality and independence.

Responsibilities

Job description

The French Touch Academy, a high-level tennis academy located in Cap d'Agde, has established itself as a major player in tennis training in Europe. The position of seasonal BAFA activity leader combines activities coordination, logistics, and supervision.

Welcome & Life at the Boarding School

• Managing interns and their families, from their arrival until their departure.
• Help the young people get acquainted with the facilities (rules, rooms, meals).
• Ensure that the facilities are kept clean and that the rules and regulations are followed.
• Promote cohesion and a positive atmosphere at the boarding school.

Supervision & Guidance

• Work shifts according to a set schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, nights).
• Be there for the key moments.
• Manage incidents in coordination with the manager.

Recreation & Social Life

• Organize fun activities and outings outside the academy (games, parties, go-karting, etc.).
• Promote the integration and well-being of young people.
• Maintain a supportive and dynamic atmosphere.

Logistics & Travel

• Provide shuttle service (between train stations and designated locations).
• Help with sports and event logistics.
• Dealing with the unexpected.

Training

• Validated BAFA certification is required.
• A Class B driver's license is strongly recommended.
