Vestas is seeking a Regional Support specialist to oversee SCADA and IT systems in windfarm operations within Vestas MED. You will provide Level 1 support, troubleshoot platform issues, and assist remote technicians, contributing to continuous monitoring and data acquisition initiatives.

The role requires IT/electronics background, familiarity with Linux/Windows servers, networking, and PLC communication protocols, plus fluent English and French. Travel and driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical education in IT or Electronics.
• Experience with server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers.
• Experience with VMware.
• Knowledge of networking and configuration.
• PLC programming and comms: IEC 104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC.
• Strong English skills (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in French.

Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and managing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It delivers advanced monitoring, control, and data acquisition technology for wind applications and provides SCADA-related support to the Construction and Service Departments.

Qualifications

Technical education in IT , Electronics or similar.Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers, experience in VMware.Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC, 104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC).Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written.Valid driver's license.
