Hamilton Barnes is partnering with a fast-growing satellite start-up in Toulouse to hire a Telecommunications Payload Engineer. You will own payload design for the open constellation and influence decisions from validation through deployment.

Join a small, senior, specialist team where your work directly shapes the technical direction, collaborate with antenna and RF engineers, and have relocation support to Toulouse.

Qualifications

• Telecommunications payload engineering experience for the space environment.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Willingness to work onsite in Toulouse.

Responsabilités

• Taking ownership of telecommunications payload design and delivery for the satellite constellation.
• Working closely with antenna and RF engineering colleagues to define and validate payload architecture.
• Contributing to digital regenerative payload and/or beamforming design work.
• Acting as a key technical contributor within a growing payload engineering function.

Telecommunications Payload Engineer | Satellite Constellation | Toulouse

A fast-growing, well-funded satellite start-up is building an open constellation of 1,500 satellites designed to deliver 5G connectivity to telecom operators worldwide, and is now expanding its payload engineering team to keep pace with an ambitious roadmap. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, senior, and highly specialised team working on payload architecture early enough that your contribution will directly shape how the constellation is built.
