Comat is seeking a Soldering Technician to join its satellite Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) team in France. You will support AIT engineers and technicians by performing operations in ISO7/ISO8 cleanrooms, following assembly procedures and executing mechanical integration of satellite structures and electrical/RF harnesses.

You will use precision soldering and torque tools, prepare tests, verify components, and document the process while reporting anomalies.

Qualifications

• VD / Higher National Degree/Technical Degree in mechanics or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally 2 years in a space environment.
• Upper-intermediate level in English (B2).

Responsabilités

• Performing operations in ISO7 or ISO8 cleanrooms.
• Reading and following assembly procedures.
• Mechanical integration of satellite structures and components including harnesses and RF cabling.
• Carrying out bolted and bonded assemblies.
• Using torque wrenches, test benches and lifting equipment.
• Test preparation and equipment verification for mechanical, thermal, optical and RF tests.
• Documentation and reporting of each integration step.
• Identify and report anomalies encountered during AIT.
