Job summary

ThrustMe in Verrières-le-Buisson, France, seeks a Satellite-Level AIT Engineer to ensure proper integration of propulsion systems on client satellites and to write integration guidelines.

You will plan and execute ground test campaigns (mechanical, thermal, electrical), support clients at facilities, and help bring products from lab to launch.

A Master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 2+ years in aerospace AIT are required; English fluency is essential, French a bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or similar.
• 2+ years in AIT for aerospace or related industries; Satellite AIT is a big plus.
• Hands-on experience with complex assemblies and/or mechatronic systems.
• Hands-on experience with electronics and lab/debugging hardware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Familiarity with CAD and technical drawings (SolidWorks/Catia/Inventor).
• Familiarity with aerospace testing standards (thermal vacuum, vibration, shock).
• Familiarity with vacuum chamber operations is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French a bonus (A2+).

Responsibilities

• Write satellite-level integration recommendations.
• Manage ground test facilities and test units, ensuring testing availability.
• Plan, organize, and execute test campaigns for AIT (mechanical, thermal, electrical).
• Assist and advise clients in their integration effort, including travel to client facilities.
• Assist and advise clients in safe handling from delivery through launch.
• Lead investigation and anomaly resolution of on-ground issues at client facilities.
• Contribute expertise to in-space anomaly investigations.
• Collaborate with engineers and physicists in industrialization of products and satellite integration.
