Jobtailor is seeking a Release Manager to oversee the release lifecycle across SAP and non-SAP environments in Paris. You will define standards, coordinate with project and run teams, and manage cutover activities.

Required are 5–8 years in release/transport management, strong SAP ALM and DevOps tool experience, and excellent English communication. Consulting experience is a plus, with ITIL or SAP certifications beneficial.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years' experience in Release Management and/or application transport management.
Master's degree or equivalent (engineering school, university, or comparable qualification).
Initial experience in consulting or client-facing advisory roles.
Proficiency with SAP ALM and DevOps tools (Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
Strong understanding of SAP and/or complex application environments.
Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
ITIL, DevOps or SAP certifications (a plus).
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Appetite for continuous improvement and the industrialization of practices.

Responsabilités

Manage the release lifecycle (planning, coordination, monitoring and communication).
Ensure consistency and reliability of transport processes across application environments (SAP and non‑SAP).
Define and evolve release management standards in coordination with project and run teams.
Deploy and administer ALM tools (SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Git, etc.).
Prepare and manage cutover phases (scheduling, coordination, risk management and communication).
Produce and maintain documentation (release roadmaps, checklists, quality reporting, best‑practice guides).
