Job summary

Alpha Impulsion in Toulouse is seeking a rocket engine operations engineer / associate project manager to coordinate activities across teams in Toulouse, Naples and European partners, supporting reporting to funders and space agencies and stakeholders.

Based in Toulouse with occasional travel for stakeholder meetings and test-site visits, you will contribute to the development and testing of the GARNET engine for launch vehicles, joining a startup that values autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience on space product development; New Space/launchers/propulsion experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in a junior or assistant project management position on an aerospace project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource allocation and testing logistics, leading or contributing to testing operations.
• Balance scope, budget and time with Systems Engineering and provide a global project overview.
• Own and update project planning and schedule; manage dependencies and long lead-time items.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; implement prevention measures.
• Organize meetings, record notes, prepare progress reports, and interact with external partners.
