UMA, based in central Paris, seeks a Robotics Assembly Technician to build, test, and maintain robots and workstations for scalable operations. You will assemble subsystems, wire and solder, and bring up hardware for deployment while diagnosing faults to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in robotics or automation assembly, a technical diploma or strong maker background, and fluency in English. This is a permanent, on-site role with a focus on documentation and reliability.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS, or equivalent) or strong self-taught maker background.
• 5+ years of electromechanical assembly, maintenance or repair in robotics or automation.

Responsabilités

• Assemble robot stations and subsystems from engineering documentation.
• Diagnose faults, replace parts, and minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.
• Wire, solder, and integrate sensors/actuators for initial bring-up.
• Prepare and test hardware for field deployment.
• Troubleshoot teleoperation stations and support operators.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve hardware reliability and ease of assembly.
• Maintain build logs, modification histories, and maintenance procedures.
