A project management firm is seeking a Road Traffic Expert - Team Leader to improve road transport regulations in the EU funded project. The role requires at least 12 years of experience in enforcing road transport regulations, with a strong command of English. The project is set to begin in December 2025 and will be based in Serbia, requiring significant expertise in the field.

Qualifications

• At least twelve years of professional experience in enforcement of regulations in road transport.
• At least five years of professional experience in enforcement of legislation regulating working hours, breaks, and vacations of vehicle crew.

Responsabilités

• Support the core team during the implementation of the project.
• Strengthen administrative and enforcement capacities related to social legislation.

Connaissances

Excellent command of English language

Knowledge of Serbian language

Formation

University degree in the field of technical sciences

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called : Improved implementation of national and EU Regulations for commercial vehicles and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to improve road transport by strengthening administrative and enforcement capacities related to the social legislation related to road transport.

Location : Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

Duration : The indicative start date is 01 / 12 / 2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 540 Day(s) from this date (indicative end date : 25 / 05 / 2027 ).

Key Expert : Road Traffic Expert - Team Leader (Cat. I)

Qualifications and skills :

• University degree in the field of technical sciences.
• Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Serbian language would be an asset .

General professional experience :

• At least twelve (12) years of professional experience in enforcement of regulations in road transport.

Specific professional experience :

• At least five (5) years of professional experience in enforcement of the legislation regulating working hours, breaks and vacations of the vehicle crew in road transport; driving time, conditions that must be met by the tachographs.
• Experience in implementing, at the key management position, at least 1 road transport policy project funded by EU budget and / or EU MS funds and / or IFI loans and / or national budget with the minimum value of at least 500.000 EUR.
