Mistral.ai is expanding its MEA operations and seeks a capable Bid Manager to lead end-to-end RFP and proposal processes. You will coordinate inputs from sales, product, engineering, legal, security, and delivery teams to craft compelling, compliant responses.

The role requires strong collaboration skills and a strategic mindset to align proposals with product capabilities, roadmaps, and client expectations across AI initiatives. Fluency in English is preferred, with MEA exposure a plus.

• Experience managing RFPs, RFIs and RFQs end-to-end.

The Role

As we expand across the MEA region, the volume and complexity of RFPs will only increase. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our proposals are compliant, competitive, and compelling, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver winning bids.

What You Will Do

1. RFP & Bid Management

• Lead the end-to-end response process for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions.




• Coordinate inputs from sales, product, engineering, legal, security, and delivery teams to craft cohesive, client-focused proposals.




• Ensure all responses meet customer requirements and deadlines, with zero tolerance for compliance gaps.




• Develop and maintain a library of reusable RFP content, including AI capabilities, technical architecture, security, and compliance documentation.

2. Commercial Deal Support

• Partner with GTM leadership to structure scalable AI solutions that align with pricing models and client needs.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as the central hub between GTM/Sales, Product, Engineering/Research, Legal & Compliance, and Delivery/Professional Services.




• Ensure proposals accurately reflect product capabilities, roadmap alignment, and client expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced: Proven track record in RFP/bid management, preferably in AI, tech, or public sector environments. Experience in the Middle East AND European RFP (EU Institutions, National Governments) is a plus.




• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain meticulous documentation.




• Collaborative: Strong interpersonal skills to align diverse stakeholders and drive consensus.




• Strategic: Ability to translate technical and commercial requirements into persuasive, client-centric proposals.




• Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with public sector tenders (MEA region experience is a plus).




• Background in AI, cloud computing, or enterprise software.




• Fluency in English (additional languages, e.g., Arabic or French, are advantageous)
