Ampleon in Toulouse or Nijmegen seeks an RF Power Application Engineer to join our NPI Multi‑Market team. You will design, simulate and measure high‑performance demo boards, define customer requirements, and support integration with emphasis on RF performance, matching, thermal design and reliability.

Requires hands‑on experience with LDMOs/GaN, ADS/MWO, 3D EM, and a Master’s in RF/Microwave. The role offers international collaboration across sites and customer sites.

Qualificações

• Significant first experience in RF design.
• High Power amplifier design >100W with PCB layout and prototyping.
• Understanding classes of operation and ability to design them.
• RF simulation tools like ADS/MWO and 3D EM simulation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, simulation and performance measurements of advanced high performing demo boards.
• Define with the customer the key requirements for their reference design and evaluate accordingly.
• Technically support customers to ensure successful integration of products in the customer environment.
• Address and solve the most complex system issues with customers.
• Write Application Notes on features and usage of products.
• Benchmark products against competing solutions to determine competitive edge.
• Propose innovative products based on customer interactions to meet market trends.
