TUMI Europe is seeking a Retail Inventory Planner & Allocator to optimize inventory across the European retail network (Full Price & Outlet) to maximize sales, stock productivity and customer experience.

You will partner with Stores, Planning, Merchandising and Supply Chain to support forecasting, allocation, replenishment and stock governance, driving productivity and retail performance through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Retail Planning, Inventory Planning, Allocation or Merchandising Planning.

Description du poste

The Retail Inventory Planner & Allocator TUMI Europe is responsible for optimizing inventory across the European retail network (Full Price & Outlet) to maximize sales, stock productivity and customer experience.

Beyond day-to-day allocation and replenishment activities, the role contributes to inventory optimization, process improvement and stock governance across the retail network.

Acting as a key business partner between Stores, Planning, Merchandising and Supply Chain, the position supports data-driven decision making and drives inventory productivity and retail performance.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels across the Full Price and Outlet network.
  • Ensure appropriate stock coverage by store, category and SKU.
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to stock imbalances.
  • Drive inventory actions to improve sell-through and reduce aged inventory.
  • Manage store allocation for new collections, replenishment and special initiatives.
  • Ensure the right product is allocated to the right store at the right time.
Store Partnership
  • Act as the primary contact for inventory-related requests from stores.
  • Challenge requests when necessary to maintain inventory discipline.
  • Provide recommendations to support store performance.
  • Develop clear guidelines and best practices for inventory management.
Planning & Business Support
  • Support collection reviews and buy planning discussions.
  • Participate in forecasting and inventory reviews.
  • Analyze sales, stock and productivity KPIs.
  • Provide recommendations to improve inventory productivity and stock turn.
Process Improvement
  • Review and improve allocation and replenishment processes.
  • Implement inventory governance and decision-making frameworks.
  • Develop tools and reporting to enhance visibility and decision quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the retail network.

Profile
Experience
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Retail Planning, Inventory Planning, Allocation or Merchandising Planning.
  • Experience in a multi-store retail environment.
  • Experience managing inventory and replenishment processes.
  • Experience implementing or improving planning and inventory management processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with planning and reporting tools.
  • Ability to translate data into business actions and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail KPIs.
