As Projects & Engineering Manager, Refrigeration Machinery, in our Catering Systems Division, you will hold the following key responsibilities:

• Overall management of RM projects: planning, cost control, quality, HSE
• Contract management of the RM projects: owning the customer relationship, ensuring compliance with the contracts (both technically & commercially), negotiating change orders & claims
• Risks & Opportunities management
• Managing the Refrigeration Machinery & Automation engineering department
• Maintain and develop the human resources of the team
• Ensure the design & engineering deliverables (drawings/specs/bill of material) meet the project requirements, ALMACO’s standards, and internal needs.
• Lead product developments as per the strategy of the division

Additionally, you will have these specific responsibilities in this role:

• Involvement in Sales
• Active involvement in processes implementation & continuous improvement
• Awareness of the rules and standards applicable to RM for passenger ships, and maintain your team at the right level of expertise

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

• Fluency in English
• Engineering education and good technical awareness in Refrigeration systems, piping, electrics, shipbuilding.
• Ability to organize and prioritize ongoing multiple tasks.
• Ability to lead a team, sense of responsibility, good communication skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD
• An open-minded and self-starter attitude
• Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-moving international environment.
