Mistral is hiring a Platform Engineer to join the Research Platform team. You will collaborate with the R&D group to build a cloud-agnostic platform that improves stability, scalability, and velocity across the research department. You will design and optimize tools that empower researchers to utilize high-performance clusters effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DX / DevOps / SRE role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Exposure to site reliability engineering: in-production troubleshooting, on-call rotations.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, orchestration and infra-as-code.
• Knowledge of debugging, performance optimization, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable research platform systems with reliability and speed.
• Build development environments for researchers to focus on core tasks.
• Create data pipelines and optimize large data workflows.
