Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in cancer biology, molecular biology and functional genomics with proven contributions.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative technologies.

Your mission

We are seeking for a permanent contract at Toulouse (Oncopole 31) a talented and highly motivated Research Manager - Target Identification & Validation to join our oncology group to manage a team of laboratory Research Associates and implement necessary modern technics in the fields of functional genomics, molecular and cell biology with a focus on Target Identification. You will drive scientific excellence and competitiveness of the Target Identification and validation group.

Your role within a pioneering company in full expansion :

  • Apply cutting-edge techniques in functional genomics, molecular biology and cell biology to identify and validate cancer targets.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional project teams propose design and implement cell-based models and assays to support target identification and validation, including validation of the drugging strategy and mechanism of action (MoA) studies.
  • Propose and evaluate new approaches and technologies to support drug discovery efforts.
  • Work effectively in collaboration with internal teams and external partners (collaboration with CROs).
  • Contribute to scientific excellence and competitiveness of the Target Identification and Validation group.
  • Lead and manage a team of 4-5 Research Associates ensuring high-quality research and fostering professional growth in a collaborative work environment.

This position is compatible with teleworking up to 2 days a week after the trial period.
