Job summary

Inria Centre at Université de Lorraine in France seeks a Research Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a repository of analyses, use cases, and reports supporting long-term collaboration within the PILOT project.

The role will collaborate with Axis 1 researchers and PILOT partners to define metadata, curate outputs, and ensure the repository is sustainable, scalable, and widely accessible for national and international researchers and policymakers.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development or data management.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of French would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the repository structure and architecture.
• Collect, formalize, curate, and integrate project outputs such as analyses, use cases, reports, demonstrators, and related documentation.
• Define metadata, classification schemes, and content management workflows.
• Work closely with Axis 1 researchers and PILOT consortium to ensure scientific relevance and usability.
• Contribute to dissemination and valorization of project results through documentation and exchanges with project partners.
• Help ensure the repository's accessibility, coherence, sustainability, and alignment with PILOT and PEPR eNSEMBLE.
