Our Scope

We develop assays at small scale, link genotype and phenotype performance in order to select the best microorganism for industrial biotechnology applications including baking, brewing, bioethanol, flavors and fragrances, food and feed, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals.

As our Research Associate focus on Microorganism Characterization, your main responsibilities will be :

• Developing and applying flow cytometry methods for the characterization of microorganisms
• Design assay to screen the potential of our microorganisms in our industrial applications.
• Developing and operating miniaturized cultures and/or assays at microtiter-plate scale for characterization and selection of Yeasts, Bacteria and Fungi.
• Working with engineers from other teams (fermentation, downstream process…), and data scientists to ensure the technical quality.
• Identifying improvements in group practices and protocols.
• Training of technical team members to protocols, workflows, and best practices.
• Ability to work on several projects in parallel.
