A leading university in health research in Marseille is seeking a candidate for a position in cancer imaging. You will purify minibodies and establish cancer models for testing imaging molecules in vivo. An advanced degree in health engineering is required, with skills in in vivo imaging modalities and experience in protein purification and cell culture as a plus. Join a collaborative team in an innovative research environment.
This position is offered in the context of the AMIDEX chaire d’excellence. The project aims to characterize novel cancer surface markers and corresponding antibodies for the fluorescent and radio‑imaging of tumors in vivo.
The successful applicant will work at the Cancer Research Center of Marseille in the Glyntera team, led by Dr. Frederic Bard. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative project with the CERIMED.
The applicant will be in charge of purifying minibodies (small antibodies) and creating derivatives used for imaging. The person will learn and establish cancer models and test the imaging molecules in an in vivo context.
The applicant will analyse results and participate in group meetings.
The position requires a good knowledge of in vivo imaging modalities and should have an advanced university degree, ideally a master in health engineering with an expertise in medical diagnostic and bioimaging. Experience in plasmid amplification, protein purification, antibody characterization and cell culture is a plus.
