Syneria, an independent technical advisory and engineering consultancy, is seeking a Financial Modeller to join its wind and solar energy projects. You will validate and optimize technical cost and revenue inputs in financial models, maintain project databases, and support international growth in Southeast Asia and Southern Europe.

Qualifications

• Business school or Engineering master degree, or similar.
• Analytical skills.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial modelling in the Renewable Energy sector.
• Excellent Excel skills and data handling/data mining expertise.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in French and English.
• Very good communication skills (internal/external).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Curiosity and proactivity.
• Developed team spirit.

Responsabilités

• Review and validate technical costs assumptions (CAPEX/OPEX/DEVEX, revenues, project lifetime) in financial models.
• Engage with investors, lenders and advisors to explain comments or recommendations.
• Identify risks/deviations and potential upside for clients.
• Maintain internal DEVEX, CAPEX and OPEX databases for wind and PV projects.
• Monitor tariff evolutions for different technology segments.
• Maintain MRA tool costs not included in O&M contracts.
• Ensure consistency between financial models and contracts/specifications.
• Provide training on financial model review topics to new hires.
• Support Syneria’s international growth in Southeast Asia and Southern Europe.
• Participate in meetings with clients and industry fairs.
