Job summary

Greenvolt Next France is seeking an Execution Engineer to manage the execution phase of decentralized renewable energy projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction to deliver on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee solar PV, storage, and hybrid systems, ensuring readiness from ready-to-build through commissioning, while liaising with EPCs and internal teams for smooth project delivery in France.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy or similar).
• 2-5+ years of experience in project execution, construction, or engineering roles.
• Experience with solar PV, storage, or decentralized energy systems is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project management, and technical standards in France.
• Fluency in French (mandatory) and good level of English.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (project management tools a plus).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the execution of decentralized energy projects to meet specs and timelines.
• Manage project execution from ready-to-build through commissioning and handover.
• Liaise with EPCs, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and mitigate delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with technical designs, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Review and validate engineering designs, technical documentation, and construction plans.
• Coordinate site activities, supervise contractors, and conduct quality inspections.
• Track budgets, control costs, and support financial reporting processes.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of equipment and materials.
• Support grid connection processes and coordinate stakeholders during implementation.
• Prepare execution schedules, progress reports, and internal documentation.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with French regulations.
