YOUR ROLE :

Your main role will be:

• Initiation, organization and management of industrial projects related to the production of renewable energy.
• Negotiation of long‑term offtake contracts of renewable energies with suppliers.

As part of its energy transition roadmap, CMA CGM is investing and securing long‑term offtakes of renewable energy. This includes biofuels, biomethane, biomethanol, hydrogen and e‑fuels. Within the framework of its projects, CMA CGM is looking for a business developer who preferably already has experience in these areas, to participate in their management. The candidate will source renewable energy projects, initiate and prioritise a pipeline of projects with suppliers, follow the progress of the various industrial projects and negotiate long‑term offtake contracts, in charge of managing CMA CGM's commitments.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Develop the portfolio of renewable energy suppliers.
• Develop the portfolio of industrial projects related to the production of renewable energy.
• Negotiate long‑term offtake contracts with counterparties.
• Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders and participate in the various studies required for the completion of these projects.
• Monitor and collect information and studies, market intelligence and watch on renewable energies applicable to shipping.
• Conduct case studies, benchmarking and viability calculations for the use of new energies.
