The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting, CPA/EA credentials, and proficiency with online tax software such as ProConnect. Remote work flexibility is a key feature of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional tax preparer credentials (CPA, EA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong familiarity with online tax software, preferably Intuit ProConnect.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business, individual, and partnership tax returns.
• Review tax returns of varying complexity to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance.
• Research tax issues and provide resolutions or recommendations.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their tax needs and ensure their best interests are met.
• Assist other members of the tax and accounting team to provide high-quality service.
• Maintain client records and ensure deadlines are met.
