Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring special education teachers to author and grade IEP and intervention scenarios used to test frontier AI models. This fully remote, asynchronous role offers $40-$70/hr, paid weekly via Stripe, with no fixed hours and a minimum of 10 hours per week.

You will write realistic scenarios from evaluation through IEP implementation, provide reference answers with the legal and instructional reasoning, and grade model outputs for compliance.

Qualifications

• Special education certification or license, or an equivalent credential
• 2+ years of teaching in special education settings
• Depth in IEP development, accommodations, and differentiated instruction
• Clear written English for documenting instructional and legal reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Author realistic special education scenarios from evaluation through IEP implementation
• Write reference answers with the legal and instructional reasoning behind each decision
• Grade model output for compliance and appropriateness for the student
• Flag advice that reads compliant but fails the student
