Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent research experience required.
• Proficiency with at least one listed scientific software library (scanpy, scvelo, squidpy, gudhi).
• Strong Python skills and Linux/terminal proficiency.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design computational problems to evaluate AI capabilities in scientific research.
• Create problems using scanpy, scvelo, squidpy and gudhi.
• Test and refine problems against state-of-the-art AI models to achieve target difficulty.
• Develop problems requiring strategic planning and efficient narrowing of possibilities.
• Work independently to refine problem designs based on feedback.
