Job summary

Cycloid in Europe/UK is seeking a QA Engineer to test a product designed for technical users. You will blend manual testing with automation to understand new features and validate end-to-end workflows across UI, backend, and IaC logic.

You’ll own quality across releases, champion user-first design, review error messages, and help refine definitions of done with Product and Ops. A remote, English-speaking role in a distributed team with opportunities for growth and impact on sustainable platform

Qualifications

• Proven track record in software quality assurance with experience creating test scenarios in complex environments.
• Comfortable with command line tools and learning Infrastructure as Code concepts (IaC).
• Experience setting up automated E2E tests, preferably with Playwright.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Quality Ownership: mix manual testing with automation to secure the codebase.
• Full-Stack QA: test Frontend, Backend and Infrastructure interactions.
• Release Management: govern releases and ensure there are no regressions.
• Documentation Guardian: keep product docs accurate and accessible.
