GE Vernova seeks a Tendering System Application Engineer to act as the technical architect for complex power systems and energy infrastructure. You will lead the technical validation, design robust architectures, and provide cost estimation across DCS/SCADA, automation, protection, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include defining project technical requirements, leading tender scopes, validating system interoperability, and mitigating technical risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in design and architecture of protection & control schemes, SCADA, and substation automation.
• Technical fluency with substation communication protocols (DNP3/IEC61850) and IED/relay principles.
• Proficient in using Visio to create engineering diagrams and system layouts.

Responsabilités

• Engineering Solutions Architecture: define tech requirements and architecture for DCS/SCADA and automation schemes; translate client requirements into specs.
• Technical Bid Integration: lead tender lifecycle, define precise technical scopes, estimate performance and costs.
• Protocol & System Interoperability: specify requirements for DNP3 and IEC61850, ensure reliable and cyber-secure architecture.
• Risk Mitigation & Documentation: manage R&O register, quantify risks, define contingencies.
• Stakeholder Technical Advocacy: provide architectural guidance to cross-functional teams and justify design choices.
