Job summary

SamBoat, based mainly in Bordeaux with remote options, is seeking a Sales Assistant Intern to support our sales team and manage multilingual customer inquiries (German, French, English). You will handle quotes, bookings, CRM updates and coordination with partners to push bookings and ensure a seamless travel experience.

Ideal candidates are studying tourism, business or sales, with a 6-month commitment and an internship agreement. Fluency in FR, EN and DE is required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Student in tourism, business or sales, looking for a 6-month internship.
• Internship agreement required.
• Fluent in French, English and German.
• Organized, autonomous and reactive.
• Good interpersonal and commercial skills, comfortable on the phone.
• At ease with IT tools (CRM, back-office, spreadsheets).
• Bonus: first experience in travel or yachting.

Responsibilities

• Qualify incoming leads (website, phone, email) and route them to the right salesperson.
• Prepare quotes and check boat availability with our partners.
• Follow up on pending quotes and push customers towards booking.
• Keep our CRM up to date (leads, deals, activities).
• Manage booking confirmations and travel arrangements.
• Handle the administrative follow-up from booking until the end of the trip.
• Answer customers by phone and email about their bookings (B2C).
• Communicate with our partners about customer requests (B2B).
• Manage invoicing and data entry across our tools.
• Ensure the quality of the SamBoat experience.
