Jobgether seeks an experienced MEP Design Engineer in France to contribute to the technical development of a major AI data center project with extensive power and infrastructure requirements. You will design and review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for critical infrastructure, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency while coordinating with IT, suppliers, and partners.

This fully remote role spans international collaboration and advanced power/cooling technologies, including

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in MEP design for critical infrastructure or heavy-industry facilities.
• Experience designing cooling and ventilation systems; strong HVAC knowledge.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in critical environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and engineering calculation/design tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review electrical distribution systems including medium- and low-voltage, UPS, diesel gen, and BESS.
• Design and review cooling and ventilation systems such as chillers, dry coolers, water towers, and liquid cooling.
• Coordinate facility architecture with MEP infrastructure and ensure system integration.
• Develop gas fire suppression, ventilation, and OT/IT integration (BMS, DCIM).
• Review vendor docs, identify risks and design gaps; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare Basis of Design and technical specifications; participate in tender evaluations.
• Coordinate with IT Infrastructure teams to align power and cooling with deployment needs.
